COMMITMENT TO HOLISTIC WELL-BEING

The Northern Virginia Section of the National Council of Negro Women is dedicated to the health and well-being of children, women, and their families. Studies have shown that being informed and having access to preventative care enables women and families to take ownership of their health and take the appropriate steps improve their lives long term. To support the community, NoVA NCNW hosts a free, public annual health fair. There medical professionals and groups across the northern virginia provide health screenings for diabetes and blood pressure along with information on Cholesterol, Dermatology, Healthy Living, Physical & Mental Wellness, Women’s Health, Affordable Health Care Act, Exercise Demonstrations, Health Facts and much more!

Stronger Communities Through Healing

The NoVA Section of NCNW, Inc. is proud to partner with BetterHelp to expand access to mental health support for our community. Through this initiative, eligible participants can receive one month of free online therapy, creating a confidential and convenient pathway to care.
