Volunteers Needed! Join Us at Arlington Food Assistance on February 28th 🥫💙

We’re looking for helping hands for our next Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) Volunteer Opportunity on Friday, February 28th at 9:00 AM—and we’d love for you to join us!

This is a great chance to give back to the community, support families in need, and make a real impact in just a few hours.

Before volunteering, please remember:

• ✅ Everyone must wear closed-toe shoes

• ✅ Volunteers must be 12 years old or older

• 👕 Wear comfortable clothes; bring a hat or head covering
  (Hairnets and gloves are provided)

• 😷 Masks are optional; extras are available at the volunteer desk

• 🤒 If you or anyone in your group is feeling sick, please stay home

Parking Options:

• 🚗 Nelson Street: 2-hour free street parking

• 🚗 Four Mile Run Drive: 10-hour metered parking

• 🚗 Parking lot at the end of Nelson Street: 2-hour metered parking

• 🚗 Harris Teeter parking garage (Shirlington): Free parking on the 3rd floor
  From there, walk toward Campbell Ave, cross the street toward the pedestrian bridge, cross it, and go past Personal Storage to reach AFAC.
